I have to say St. Louis impressed me. It was my honest to goodness first trip to the Midwest, and while I did not get the opportunity to go cow tipping (although, I saw a t-shirt that praised the sport), I was not disappointed. It was quaint, the architecture was cool, and the restaurants were tasty. What more could a girl need? (Except maybe a body of water.)
1. The Arch where you can ride to the top in Willy Wonka-era space pods and see how little the city is; 2. Dressel's Public House where I made my first visit to a gastropub and got to try rarebit (although I still don't know what it is); 3. The Cup where we picked up gourmet cupcakes for the next morning's breakfast; 4. Chocolate and raspberry martinis and individually sold truffles served on plates at Bailey's Chocolate Bar.
Unfortunately, there were no sightings of Nelly. But I'll leave you with this anyway.
